About Us

There is so much locked into you that need expression. No matter the level you are currently in life, there is always something better and what gives you fulfillment in life is to keep stepping into something better as you keep improving the quality of life you live. At LifePort, we Design, Develop and Deploy resources, projects and programs that will help fulfill our vision of improving the quality of life of not just members of the LifePort community, but of every one under our physical and virtual influence and help them connect to a new zest of life.  We are a society impacting, mulitethinc and multigenerational community that keeps improving our quality of Life and doing same with everyone in our society. In the last three year, over 1000 people had come under the direct one-on-one physical influence (and over 35,000 through online deployment) of resources and projects designed, developed and deployed by LifePort. At LifePort, you meet new friends, as we are open to receive you just as you are as we encourage you towards becoming the best “YOU”. We value authenticity over formality! We are a faith community of friendly and happy people who have discovered the joy of the practical Christian lifestyle as we work towards becoming a positive influence in our society. When you join the LifePort comunity, you have the opportunity to use your gifts, talents, creativity and initiatives, as we help you to take your life to the next level and help you become relevant in/to life.

Vision: we are a society-impacting, multiethnic and multigenerational community that keeps improving our quality of life through our connection to THE SOURCE OF LIFE, thereby making us LifePort (where others can also connect to THE SOURCE OF LIFE for an improved quality of life).

We are and will continue to be a platform through which the purpose of Jesus coming into the earth will be fulfilled in the lives of people we come in contact with, in our immediate environment and in various parts of the world. What was Jesus’ purpose of coming to the earth? …improving our quality of life.

Biblical Reference: John 10:10b -   My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life (New Living Translation).  I have come that they might have life and have it in all its fullness (Berean Study Bible).  I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full (New International Version)

How are we going about this? - We have 3 basic approach to this, every activity, projects, program and initiatives we are involved in will be drawn out from this:

1. Connecting men to the life of God and helping them to live in the reality of God’s life (Turning sinners to saints) …we have to be friends to sinners just as Jesus was while on earth.

2. Connecting men to their God given purpose and design for life, which is the highest form of ministry (service) anyone can be involved in (Preparing, equipping and deploying the saints for the work of the ministry). We don’t believe in the separation of the secular and spiritual life. We believe all our life and everything we are involved in is meant to fulfill God’s purpose and bring glory to his name.

3. Connecting men to an improved quality of life by engaging in various physical activities and interventions for people living in our immediate environment and the world at large.

Matthew 25:35-45 (God’s Word Version)

35  I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home.

36  I needed clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.'

37  "Then the people who have God's approval will reply to him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or see you thirsty and give you something to drink?

38  When did we see you as a stranger and take you into our homes or see you in need of clothes and give you something to wear?

39  When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'

40  "The king will answer them, 'I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did for me.'

James 2:15-16 (God’s Word Version)

15  Suppose a believer, whether a man or a woman, needs clothes or food

16  and one of you tells that person, "God be with you! Stay warm, and make sure you eat enough." If you don't provide for that person's physical needs, what good does it do?

Our Approach and style

-Contemporary: We will be non-religious and non-traditional in our approach and style as we present the basic gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and doctrine of the Christian life.

-We will be loud and clear as we present the gospel truth in a contemporary package that our target audience can easily relate with. Just as Jesus did in his earthly days/generation, we will use contemporary concept they are familiar with to present the gospel message and teach Christian values and doctrines.

-With respect to biblical doctrines/teaching, we will speak out where the bible is clear and direct and we will be quiet where the bible is quiet. We will only encourage and give our views and suggestion at such instance.

-We will create an environment which will enable people to be themselves (sincerity) and where we can easily bring our unsaved friends to hear the words that will change/improve the quality of their life.

-We will be motivated by love in all we say and do. We will allow the love of God shed in our hearts to flow out to as many within our reach.
